Being a priest of brell, im one for dungeons mainly. Kunark and the rediculous faction problems my troll friend suffers from has caused me to hunt outside a bit.

Being doing the dreadlands and burning woods, being a dwarf i only have a low charisma but that 39 fear spell send em charging. As long as you have anyone to cast a snare type spell youll be amazed a the mana saving. 1 geal and a fear instead of two sups on our ranger...very nice )

Yes invoke fear is very useful. The problem with this is... necros and druids are pretty common. Have those two and you (cleric) are going to be TOTALLY useful. You'll be playing wizard.. you know how that'll work. Only place where I love fear kiting is PoF http://eqcleric.gameglow.com/ubb/wink.gif (because the group still needs me)

For areas like Burningwood, when using Fear/Snare we are not made redundant by having a necro or Enchanter(they also have fear spells). The mobs there hit so hard that after one resist and the resultant recast delay, the tank will need a heal(even though it won't be a CH) and ours are still the most efficient.
The other area where we are better is if you get multiple mobs, because when fear wears off on that 2nd etc mob it will go for the person who cast fear, and a cleric is better able to take a little beating while recasting than a robe wearer.
