  • Contact Tavon Vastsea

  • (Group) Find Jomaj Kaiijin and defeat the Kyv Runner. Once dead, slay random creatures in the area to gain the "encrypted note". This is easily one groupable, but the runner hits hard and fast, summons and enrages so, solo, he may prove a handful.

  • Give "encrypted note" to Shav the Cryptologist.

  • (Group) Find the Ripped, Shredded, Tattered and Torn Quarters of a map which are held by random creatures throughout the area.

  • On the dock, give "assembled map" to Cartographer Tweister.

  • (Raid) In the southwest corner, defeat Taskmaster Mirot. Obtain the "Magically Sealed Note"
[edit] Bestiary
  • Taskmaster Mirot: Yellow to 73, casts essentially unresistable AoE FD/6 second Stun with a -500 HP DD component. Not slowable nor mezzable. Immune to changes in run speed. Rampages. Top hit is in the 800 range. Apparently NOT undead.
  • Reanimated Minion, level 65 cleric, mezzable (white skeleton model)
  • Reanimated Minion, level 65 cleric, not mezzable (brown skeleton model)
[edit] Strategy
  1. Cast Lev or equivalent on everyone
  2. Load Infusion of the Faithful where available.
  3. Cleric DA before hail, and bring mobs to raid outside of camp.
  4. Bind a rezzing cleric nearby but out of harms way.
  5. Keep one of the camp mobs alive (mez or offtank) until dead are rezzed and buffed. Then kill.
  6. Have someone pretarget the White skellies (Blue at 67) for Enchanters to mezz or rooters to root.
  7. The skellies that spawn are mezzable with Bliss or higher. They're slowable. They're snareable. Hit for 600-800 on average.
  8. Pretarget the brown skellies (Blue at 67) for snare and kiting or offtanking. These can Heal, so they will be first priority.
  9. Pretarget the undead version Taskmaster Mirot (Yellow at 73) for MT. When his skellies get out of range of him, he summons them back to his side, so kiting needs to stay close. Immune to snare. Not undead (human model). Rampages. Hits for 800s.
  10. HoT each group
  11. MT pull Undead version of Taskmaster Mirot. An arrow works. Heals on the MT need to consider the AE FD/Stun. Promised Renewal and fast heals are a good idea. .
  12. Mezz or root the whites, snare and and kite all but one of the browns, but stay close to Taskmaster Mirot, offtank the other brown, preferably with a pally that can chain stun.
  13. Clerics should Group HoT early in the fight and then immediately DB/DI to avoid aggro
  14. Raid DPS kills each brown in turn.
  15. Raid DPS switches to whites, one at a time.
  16. Raid DPS switches to main skelly.

  • (Raid) Contact Scout Leader Plavo. Turn in "a Dragon Cerebrum", "Shissar Cerebral Cortex", and "Akhevan Brain Stem" to spawn Dark Disciple Master. Obtain the "Aegis of Chaotic Worship"
[edit] Beastiary
  • Dark Disciple Master: hits for 1-2k, procs Deathly Chants every 18 seconds. Deathly Chants is an unresistable AE that reduces mana cap by 1500 and sticks on a 9 counter curse that does 150 HPs/tick damage (AE heal, RC1 or better, group heal cures to counter the small HP DoT). Its effect is insignificant. AE ramps (max melee range for the win!), and is highly magic resistant. Disease slow works.
  • Plavo's Remains: (reaper model), which flurries for 1k and is slowable but unmezzable.
  • Numerous Minions of the Master - Skeletons
[edit] Strategy

Group requirements:

  • 2 tanks (MT, ST for remains)
  • shammy slower
  • lots of DPS - melee is best due to reflect and mana drain
  • 4 healers (2 on MT, 1 on offtank for remains, 1 on rest of group)
  • a chanter or ranger to chain dispell at 30%
  • 3 kiters for minions that spawn around 30%
  • 3-4 groups recommended total

Highlights:

  • AE ramps
  • disease slowable
  • spawns Remains at 70%, which needs to be killed asap
  • spawns minions at 30% which need to be kited
  • chanter needs to start chain dispell on master at 30% to get rid of reflect and mitigate self buffs
  • respawn timer on the event is 90-120 mins, so they can't be done back to back, but can be done with a few other hits in between
  1. Set up: At the geonid caves, just to the north of where Plavo spawns. Casters should be set up out of the 100' AE range to avoid it completely. Melee should be reminded to engage from the rear and at max melee ranger to avoid Ramp. One Necro should be assigned to FD to rezz cleric if that is needed.
  2. Turn in: Bring the MT to Plavo, DA, do the hand-in, have the MT tag and drag back to corner to tank Dark Disciple Master in.
  3. At 60-70% health, it will spawn Plavo`s Remains All assist to kill this, then go back to killing the Dark Disciple Master.
  4. At 30% health, it will spawn several Minions of the Master (time-based spawns - kite them away from raid as they pop), which hit for 700, are slowable/snareable but unmezzable.
  5. Anyone that gets skellie aggro should begin kiting.
  6. Master casts reflect and mitigate on itself, so raid needs to chain dispell from this point on.
  7. At 10%, it despawns and chests pops. Kill the adds as the chest is looted.
  8. Have a necro FD in case of a late wipe to rez cleric in to loot up.
  9. Chest can be opened by rogue, with LDoN cleric spells, or by hitting it.
  10. Have Bards kite the adds away from the raid until the Dark Disciple Master is defeated and the Cleric loots the Epic drop from the chest.
  11. Then have the Bard bring in the Skellie adds to be peeled off one by one and easily killed by the raid. This really cuts down on deaths during this fight.
