Key Changes or Improvements to Cleric Abilities, Spells, AA's, Gear and More Throughout Time
From EQ Clerics Wiki
This thread (http://forums.station.sony.com/eq/posts/list.m?start=&topic_id=148787#2168405) hosts the full listing of recent changes made to the cleric class (2009 and following). However a summary is listed below. As new changes take place, they will be added to the bottom
Divine Intervention fixed (and other spells like it) so that if a person goes out of range after cast is started, the spell gem no longer greys out as if it was used. It can now be recast instantly. (Fixed in 1/20/2009 patch)
Cast timers reduced for cleric nukes (recast timers adjusted accordingly). Outcome - clerics can chain 2 nukes now in the time we could cast 1 nuke earlier.
(Fixed in 3/11/2009 patch)
Blessed Aquifer now stacks with turn undead. Previously, one would be blocked if the other was on. This was one of the changes/fixes we asked to be looked into when we gave Developers our list of spell requests, and it has been modified so they now DO stack.
(Noticed that it was stealth fixed around 3/22/2009)
More haste options available for clerics in SoF and SoD expansions - most/all SoF and SoD belts that are cleric wearable now have haste on them. This was the result of a petition for Devs to review a specific hole in haste availability for clerics and grew to encompass other classes by the time it patched live.
(Added to 4/23/2009 patch)
A bug fixed between Promised Recuperation and Promised Reknit - the lower version was overwriting the higher version. NOTE: The fix caused a side effect in that a higher version also does not overwrite the lower version. (Fixed in 8/12/2009 patch)
Stacking issue between Aura of the Pious and Recourse of Life AA has been fixed finally - there had been an issue that if you had aura of the pious up and recourse of life proc'd, aura would no longer function/work. (Fixed in 12/15/2009 expansion launch)
Healing Adept AA line was reinstated - priests had been told years ago this line would not be continued, however clerics (and possibly other classes) put forth a strong persuasive argument toward having it reinstated and the Devs DID reinstate this AA line. (Added back in the 12/15/2009 expansion launch)
