Secrets of Faydwer
With a rumbling from the Steamfont Mountains, "Secrets of Faydwer" launched with the evil Meldrath's attack on Ak'Anon. When the dust settled, and Meldrath beat back, adventurers discovered an entrance to a new region of Faydwer.
This expansion allows players to explore the Loping Plains, the Dragonscale Hills and similar areas previously unseen on Faydwer. Adventurers will explore and ruin Meldrath's plans, and in doing so discover the bigger threat sleeping in the hills nearby.
It is the first of the planned annual expansions for Everquest, even though it has less than a full year development time. Future expansions will be similar in this expansions format, including the level increases.
